Just another day in paradise:

"Theapy, therapy. Can't wait to start therapy. doo-dah, doo-dah." Yep, I'm bored, can't sleep. Nothing on tv, nothing on the internet "and someone ate my porridge"!

I need to scan my doctor note to send to work. A good job for "tomorrow, tomoorow, I love ya tomorrow. You're always a day awaaaaay".

Shout out to the Steve-man! Darn cat got the boys tongue! And legs and face and...other stuff. Not good. But he made it through! Next stop? Don't rightly know but he'll figure it out. Go get them Steve!!

Flying, well, I guess that laptops are ok for carryon now. Good, I have to go to Newfoundland in March. I'm sure that is going to be quite tropical. Not looking forward to that flight, nor the FARE!

Day 10....

Got my car home finally. Haven't driven for 2 weeks. Tiring to drive now. I got my splint off and now have aremovable split so that I can do therapy. Also trying to type with 2 hands again. It hurts and it is awkward but I will keep at it. Before pic is on the left and the after is on the right.

Picture hosting on the web

It seems to a bit of a bugaboo for me. I can find some nice album places to host them that make uploading easy but then they are a hassle to link to forums and whatnot. If I use the less easy to manipulate solutions then it is a major chore to uploaded them but they link easily. Tough troubles I realize. <--sarcasm Babies are neat. Kids are neat really. Little parts amaze me. Shelby's feet and daddy's (me) feet.
Worked on some more Shrine stuff today, specifically, the possible Boston to Anaheim ride in 2007. I have put the possible route into the Picasa web area. Look in the Possible Route folder. The correct picture lists the waypoints on the left side. To make the picture bigger there is a magnifying glass in the upper right corner of the page. Once you click that then you need to click and drag the image to move it around, there are no slider bars.

Day 8 of being home...

...from my wrist injury and the boredom is severe. The plate and screws that you see are the old items that have now been taken out. They were replaced with new stuff. I'll get pictures of that stuff, I think, at my doctors appointment on Friday.

I have tried to pass the time by creating this blog but my photo source isn't cooperating to publicly host pictures. I also bought one of those CameraMate things to get VHS tape to the computer and that doesn't work (back to the store it goes). Hopefully I can figure out the picture hosting thing soon. I'll be keeping the blog, maybe moving it to work with wherever the picture hosting site will be but that is a while from now most likely.

I also worked on the Northeast Association of Shrine Motor Corps Field Days stuff today too. Trying to get more events at those events to make it more enjoyable rather than all work for the attendees. We'll at least get a possible extracurricular ride in after the parade on Saturday. I'm not sure what type of scenery can be found around Hatrord but someone else has volunteered to set that up. I think the idea is taking hold, it will take some time but that is ok.

Baby steps

Playing with Picassa some to try and figure out posting photo albums within the blog experience. They sort of work but I think I would like a sidebar on the left for just photo links though. No biggie, it's a playground and not work.

Bored at home...

Sure I have all of th cool toys. The internet is vast and wide. But te stories are the same. Nothing to do. I could write up the Face Plant story though for ADVrider. Maybe that. I'll learn some more basics of blogdom here too. Trying a pic upload as well.

Long term geek goal - laptop motorcycle trip reports from the road including photo and video. Haven't thought much about the audio aspect. Might be interesting if I could come up with some original thoughts.
